How MCA Debt Relief Works

Here's the general process from a business owner's perspective — what to look at, what to ask, and what to get in writing. No step guarantees a particular outcome or timeline.

  1. 1

    Understand the current obligations

List every advance: number of positions, outstanding amounts, payment frequency, key contract terms, and any existing defaults or legal notices.

  2. 2

    Understand the business's financial position

Look at revenue, operating expenses, cash flow, and how much is currently committed to debt payments. This determines which paths are realistic.

  3. 3

    Identify potentially relevant approaches

Settlement, restructuring, reconciliation (where an agreement provides for it), refinancing, consolidation, and independent legal advice are distinct possibilities with different trade-offs.

  4. 4

    Understand any proposed arrangement

Before agreeing to work with any provider, understand the proposed work, all fees, your responsibilities, the uncertainties, and exactly what you'd need to approve.

  5. 5

    Understand what happens next

Ask how communications with funders will be handled, how proposals and responses will be shared with you, what documentation is needed, and how often you'll be updated.

  6. 6

    Review the final terms

Any resolution should be in a written agreement from the funder confirming acceptance, the payment obligations, what happens if a payment is missed, and documentation showing how the obligation is resolved — including UCC termination and guarantor release where applicable.

General process vs. what we do

The steps here describe the general industry process. When you contact Business Debt Relief Group, we start with the first three: understanding your obligations, your financial position, and which approaches may be relevant. Any further services, fees, and responsibilities would be explained to you in writing before you decide anything.

We do not provide legal representation, and we can't promise how long any resolution will take, how much debt may be reduced, or whether payments will stop.
